Travel has been at the heart of my life and career for over three decades. I have been fortunate enough to have visited 150 countries to date. From leading small-group trips to Mongolia to helping build a respected adventure travel company from the ground up, I’ve been able to experience the world through many lenses, including guide, planner, collaborator, and behind-the-scenes problem solver.

Much of my career was spent at Geographic Expeditions (GeoEx), where I was involved in everything from launching a full-service travel agency to navigating complex operational and leadership transitions. Over time, I stepped into senior roles, but I’ve always stayed grounded in what drew me to travel in the first place, namely the joy of connecting people to meaningful experiences.

Along the way, I’ve built teams, improved systems, supported travelers through uncertain times (including during COVID), and helped friends and family plan trips that reflect who they are and how they want to explore the world.

Now, I’m excited to focus exclusively on helping others plan thoughtful, well-supported journeys. I created Montgomery Journeys to allow this to happen. I bring deep industry knowledge, calm and collaborative energy, and a love for getting the details right so that others can experience the magic of travel without the stress.  I look forward to working with you.
